Report on JCIM 50th Anniversary Symposium
The first issue of the Journal of Chemical Documentation appeared in 1960. The name of the journal changed to the Journal of Chemical Information and Computer Sciences (JCICS) in 1975 and to the Journal of Chemical Information and Modeling (JCIM) in 2005. Thus the journal celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2010. The anniversary was marked by a symposium shared between CINF and COMP Divisions at the fall 2010 ACS National Meeting.
